Elizabeth Tullius, MS, FNP-C

Elizabeth Tullius, MS, FNP­C is a Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed by the State of New York to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages.

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, at Pace University in New York, and a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma, Elizabeth received a Master of Science degree, as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at Texas Woman’s University in Texas.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Elizabeth worked as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Dallas, TX for over four years. She worked both in level one trauma centers, as well as non­trauma facilities alike. Most recently, before coming to Mohawk Village Medical, she worked as a Family NP for a OB/GYN practice here in New York City.

Her extensive training, experience and education make her a valuable team member at Mohawk Village Medical. Her scope of practice includes:  health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.

Elizabeth has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building long lasting and trusting relationships with each of her patients. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient, by taking the time to listen, and to understand his or her unique needs.

Elizabeth is a native of Oklahoma, and now lives in Jersey City with her Pomeranian Fergie, and her cat Ozzy Osborn. Her personal interests include spending time with friends, cooking, reading and traveling to new places.
